  1. Lubricate the NEW MAP sensor seal with clean engine oil.
  2. Install the MAP sensor (6) into the upper intake manifold.
  3. Place the MAP sensor bracket (5) into position.
  4. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  5. Install the upper intake manifold bolt.

    Tighten:Β  Tighten the bolt to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

  7. Install the spark plug wire clip to the MAP sensor bracket, if necessary.

  9. Connect the engine wiring harness electrical connector (1) to the MAP sensor.
  10. Install the intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement .
