  1. Replace the O-ring seal if damaged, lubricate the NEW O-ring with clean engine oil.
  2. Install the CMP sensor.
  3. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  4. Install the CMP sensor bolt.

    Tighten:Β  Tighten the bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  6. Connect the fuel injector wiring harness electrical connector to the CMP sensor.
  7. Install the power steering pump, if required. Refer to Power Steering Pump Replacement .
  8. Install the intake manifold cover. if required. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement .
