  1. Remove the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Duct ReplacementΒ .
  2. Disconnect the engine wiring harness electrical connector (1) from the mass airflow (MAF)/intake air temperature (IAT) sensor.

  4. Loosen the air cleaner cover screws (1).
  5. Remove the air cleaner cover from the housing.
  6. Remove and discard the air filter assembly.
