2008 Chevrolet Chevy Express G3500, Van Passenger ExtendedSECTION Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  2. Remove the rear wheels. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
  3. Remove the muffler. Refer to Muffler Replacement (Sedan SS, Maxx SS) , Muffler Replacement (Sedan LS, LT, Maxx LT) or Muffler Replacement (Sedan LTZ, Maxx LTZ) .
  4. Remove the lower control arms. Refer to Rear Axle Lower Control Arm ReplacementΒ .
  5. IMPORTANT: When replacing complete module assembly, mark fastener location of axle bracket (LH/RH) to body rail.
