2008 Chevrolet Chevy Express G3500, Van Passenger ExtendedSECTION Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  2. Remove the tire and wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
  3. Remove the rear wheel bearing. Refer to Rear Wheel Bearing and Hub ReplacementΒ .
  4. Using a suitable jack, raise the knuckle in order to relieve tension from the shock.

  6. Remove the lower shock to knuckle bolt.
  7. Remove the coil spring. Refer to Coil Spring ReplacementΒ .

  9. Remove the toe link. Refer to Toe Link ReplacementΒ .
  10. Remove the upper control arm to knuckle bolt and nut.

  12. Remove the trailing arm to knuckle bolts.

  14. Remove the stabilizer shaft link to knuckle bolt.
  15. Remove the knuckle from the vehicle.
