2008 Chevrolet Chevy Express G3500, Van Passenger ExtendedSECTION Installation Procedure

IMPORTANT: Rotate the pigtail 90 degrees from vertical before securing the bolt.

  1. Position the knock sensor to the engine block.
  2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  3. Tighten the knock sensor bolt.

    Tighten:Β  Tighten the bolt to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

  5. Connect the engine wiring harness electrical connector (2) to the knock sensor jumper wire electrical connector (3).
  6. Install the connector position assurance (CPA) retainer (1).
  7. Install the knock sensor jumper wire electrical connector rosebud clip to the oil level indicator tube tab.
  8. Lower the vehicle.
