- Drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (L61) .
- Loosen the water pump pulley bolts.
- Remove the drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement .
- Remove the water pump pulley bolts and pulley.
- Remove the water pump bolts.
- Remove the water pump and gasket.
- Clean the water pump mating surfaces.
