- Test the engine cooling system for overheating. Refer to Engine OverheatingΒ .
- Inspect the water pump and coolant flow for correct operation. Refer to Water Pump Cleaning and Inspection for the 3.5L engine.
- Inspect the engine mechanical for worn/leaking/cracked cylinder heads or engine block. Refer to Coolant in Combustion Chamber for the 3.5L engine. Also refer to Coolant in Engine Oil for the 3.5L engine.
