Removal Procedure
2008 Chevrolet Chevy Express G3500, Van Passenger ExtendedSECTION Removal Procedure
- Turn OFF the ignition.
- Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
- Drain the cooling system below the level of the ECT sensor. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill) or Cooling System Draining and Filling (Vac N Fill) .
- Lower the vehicle.
- Disconnect the electrical connector from the engine coolant temperature (ECT) sensor.
- Remove the ECT sensor.
NOTE:
Use care when handling the coolant sensor. Damage to the coolant sensor will affect the operation of the fuel control system.
