  1. Install the auxiliary battery tray to the vehicle.
  2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  3. Install the auxiliary battery tray bolts to the battery tray.

    Tighten:  Tighten the auxiliary battery tray bolts to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

  5. Install the auxiliary battery to the auxiliary battery tray.
  6. Install the auxiliary battery hold-down retainer bolt.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolt to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

  7. Connect the auxiliary battery positive and negative cables. Refer to Battery Positive Cable Replacement (4.3L)  or Battery Positive Cable Replacement (4.8L, 5.3L and 6.0L)  or Battery Positive Cable Replacement (6.6L - Primary)  or Battery Positive Cable Replacement (6.6L - Auxiliary)  and Battery Negative Cable Replacement (4.3L)  or Battery Negative Cable Replacement (4.8L, 5.3L and 6.0L)  or Battery Negative Cable Replacement (6.6L - Primary)  or Battery Negative Cable Replacement (6.6L - Auxiliary) .
  8. Lower the vehicle.
  9. Install the front battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
