Installation Procedure
2008 Chevrolet Chevy Express G3500, Van Passenger ExtendedSECTION Installation Procedure
- Install the auxiliary battery tray to the vehicle.
- Install the auxiliary battery tray bolts to the battery tray.
Tighten: Tighten the auxiliary battery tray bolts to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).
- Install the auxiliary battery to the auxiliary battery tray.
- Install the auxiliary battery hold-down retainer bolt.
Tighten: Tighten the bolt to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).
- Connect the auxiliary battery positive and negative cables. Refer to Battery Positive Cable Replacement (4.3L) or Battery Positive Cable Replacement (4.8L, 5.3L and 6.0L) or Battery Positive Cable Replacement (6.6L - Primary) or Battery Positive Cable Replacement (6.6L - Auxiliary) and Battery Negative Cable Replacement (4.3L) or Battery Negative Cable Replacement (4.8L, 5.3L and 6.0L) or Battery Negative Cable Replacement (6.6L - Primary) or Battery Negative Cable Replacement (6.6L - Auxiliary) .
- Lower the vehicle.
- Install the front battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
