  1. Install the battery into the battery tray.
  2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  3. Install the battery hold-down retainer and bolt.

    Tighten:Β  Tighten the battery hold-down retainer bolt to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

  5. Connect the auxiliary battery positive and negative cables to the battery.

    Tighten:Β  Tighten the auxiliary battery cables to 15 N.m (11 lb ft).

  6. Lower the vehicle.
  7. Connect the battery negative cable to the battery. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and ConnectionΒ .
