- Install the intermediate cable to the vehicle.
- For passenger and cargo vehicles, connect the intermediate park brake cable to the front and rear park brake cables.
- For cutaway vehicles, connect the intermediate cable to the front and rear park brake cables, passing it through the cable guide.
- Remove the safety stands and lower the vehicle.
- Enable the park brake cable automatic adjuster. Refer to Parking Brake Cable Adjuster Enabling .
- Adjust the park brake system. Refer to Park Brake Adjustment .
