- Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
- Remove the axle shaft. Refer to Rear Axle Shaft and/or Gasket ReplacementΒ .
- Remove the hub adjuster nut retaining ring.
- Remove the adjuster nut lock key.
