Installation Procedure

2008 Chevrolet Chevy Express G2500, Van Cargo, 6.6 6SECTION Installation Procedure

  1. Install 4 new pushnuts (1).

  2. Place the amplifier on the console bracket.
  3. Connect the wire connector to the amplifier.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  4. Install the 4 retaining screws.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the 4 retaining screws to 3.4 N.m (30 lb in).

  5. Install the storage bin bracket to the console bracket.
  6. Install the 4 bracket screws.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the 4 screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

  7. Install the console structure to the bin bracket.
  8. Install the 4 retaining screws.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the 4 screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

  9. Install the console side panels.
  10. Install the retaining screws.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the retaining screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

  11. Install the console bin. Refer to CONSOLE STORAGE BIN REPLACEMENT (EXPECT PRO) or CONSOLE STORAGE BIN REPLACEMENT (PRO) .
  12. Install the console in the vehicle. Refer to CONSOLE REPLACEMENT (EXCEPT PRO) or CONSOLE REPLACEMENT (PRO) .

  13. Install the floor console bezels. Refer to BEZEL REPLACEMENT-FLOOR CONSOLE (NON-LUXURY UPPER) or BEZEL REPLACEMENT-FLOOR CONSOLE (LUXURY UPPER) or BEZEL REPLACEMENT-FLOOR CONSOLE (NON-LUX LOWER) .
  14. Install both front seats in the vehicle. Refer to SEAT REPLACEMENT-FRONT BUCKET .
  15. Perform the audio amplifier set up procedure. Refer to Audio Amplifier Setup   .
