  1. Remove the floor shift control. Refer to Floor Shift Control Replacement in Automatic Transmission - 4L60-E.
  2. Fig 2: Bulb To Lamp Socket

  3. Remove the floor shift control boot assembly. Refer to Floor Shift Control Boot Replacement in Automatic Transmission - 4L60-E.
  4. Remove the lamp socket.
  5. Remove the bulb from the lamp socket.
