Removal Procedure

- Open the hood.
- Turn the ignition switch to the ACCY position.
- Turn the wiper switch to the DELAY position.
- Turn the ignition switch OFF when the wiper arms are in the inner wipe position and not moving.
- Place a piece of masking tape (5) onto the windshield at the tip of each wiper blade (6) to aid in the wiper arm reinstallation.
- Disconnect the washer hose (3) from the air inlet grille panel.
- Remove the wiper arm nut cover (1).
- Remove the wiper arm nut (2).
- Using the J 39822, remove the wiper arm from the wiper transmission.
- Remove the wiper blade from the wiper arm. Refer to WIPER ARM BLADE REPLACEMENTΒ .
