2008 Chevrolet Chevy Express G2500, Van Cargo, 6.6 6SECTION Installation Procedures

  1. Install the inflatable restraint passenger presence system to the seat.

  2. Install the push in retainer's (1) that hold the bladder to the seat cushion frame.

  4. Install the pressure sensor (2) to the bottom of the passenger seat cushion frame.
  5. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  6. Install the bolts that retain the (ECU) (1) to the bottom the passenger seat cushion frame.

    Tighten:Β  Tighten the bolts to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

  7. Connect the electrical connectors.
  8. Install the seat cushion trim cover and pad. Refer to Seat Cushion Trim Cover and Pad Replacement in Seats.
  9. Re-zero the inflatable restraint passenger presence system. Refer toPassenger Presence System Rezeroing ProcedureΒ  in SIR.
