2008 Chevrolet Chevy Express G2500, Van Cargo, 6.6 6SECTION Installation Procedure

IMPORTANT: When ordering new fuel injectors, be sure to order the correct injector for the application being serviced.
  1. Lubricate the NEW injector O-ring seals with clean engine oil.
  2. Install the fuel injector (3) into the fuel meter body injector socket.
    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Install the injector retainer (4) and the injector retainer lock nuts (2).

    Tighten:Β  Tighten the nuts to 3 N.m (27 lb in).

  5. Install the fuel meter body. Refer to Fuel Meter Body Assembly ReplacementΒ .
