2008 Chevrolet Chevy Express G2500, Van Cargo, 6.6 6SECTION Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the intake air resonator. Refer to Intake Air Resonator ReplacementΒ .

  2. Disconnect the mass air flow/intake air temperature (MAF/IAT) sensor electrical connector (3).

  4. Loosen the air cleaner housing cover screws.
  5. Remove the air cleaner housing cover.
  6. Remove the air filter element.
  7. Inspect the air filter element for the following:
    • Dust
    • Dirt
    • Water
  8. Clean or replace the air filter element as required.
