License Plate Light Removal/Installation

2008 Chevrolet Chevy Express G2500, Van Cargo, 6.6 6SECTION License Plate Light Removal/Installation

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the lens, then remove the license plate light bulb.
  3. Remove the license plate light from the rear bumper.
  4. Remove the trunk end trim. (See TRUNK END TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  5. Remove the fasteners and slightly bend back the trunk side trim (RH).
  6. Remove the fasteners and slightly bend back the trunk side trim (LH). (4 door)
  7. Remove the service hole cover (LH). (5 door)
  8. Remove the rear combination light. (See REAR COMBINATION LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATIONΒ .)
  9. Disconnect the license plate light connector.
  10. Remove the rear bumper. (See REAR BUMPER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
