2008 Chevrolet Chevy Express G2500, Van Cargo, 6.6 6SECTION Installation Procedure

  1. Install the battery into the battery carrier.
    CAUTION: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  2. Install the battery hold-down retainer and bolt.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the bolt to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

  3. Connect the battery positive cable and the positive battery cable terminal to the battery. Refer to Battery Positive Cable Replacement .
  4. Connect the battery negative cable and the negative battery cable terminal to the battery. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnect/Connect Procedure .
  5. Install the coolant recovery reservoir.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the reservoir bolt to 11 N.m (97 lb in).
