- Verify the function of the driver and passenger door lock knobs by manually moving the door locks knobs between the LOCK and UNLOCK positions, both door lock knobs should move between the LOCK and UNLOCK positions without binding or require excessive force.
- If the driver or passenger door lock knob does not function or requires excessive force, refer to Door Will Not Open/Close, Door Binding, or Locks, Handles, or Cylinders Do Not FunctionΒ .
- Command the driver door to LOCK and UNLOCK by using the driver door lock/window switch, the driver door should perform LOCK and UNLOCK function.
- If the driver door does not LOCK or UNLOCK, refer to Driver Door Lock Malfunction.
- Command the passenger door to LOCK and UNLOCK by using the passenger door lock/window switch, the passenger door should perform LOCK and UNLOCK function.
- If the passenger door does not LOCK or UNLOCK, refer to Passenger Door Lock Malfunction
- Verify the function of the left rear and right rear door lock knobs by manually moving the door locks knobs between the LOCK and UNLOCK positions, both rear door lock knobs should move between the LOCK and UNLOCK positions without binding or require excessive force
- If the left rear or right rear door lock knob does not function or requires excessive force, refer to Door Will Not Open/Close, Door Binding, or Locks, Handles, or Cylinders Do Not FunctionΒ .
- Command the rear doors to LOCK and UNLOCK with a scan tool, the rear doors should perform LOCK and UNLOCK function.
- If a rear door does not LOCK or UNLOCK, refer to Rear Door Lock Malfunction
