  1. Ignition On, verify that DTC U1826, U1827, or C0292 are not set.
  2. With a scan tool, clear the DTC.
  3. Test drive the vehicle while observing the scan tool Yaw Rate and Lateral Accelerometer Sensor parameter. The parameters should vary as the vehicle changes directions.
    • If the parameters are locked or erratic, replace the yaw/lateral accelerometer sensor.
  4. Replace the EBCM.
