- Ignition On, verify that DTC U1826, U1827, or C0292 are not set.
- If any of the DTCs are set, Refer to Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) List - Vehicle .
- With a scan tool, clear the DTC.
- Test drive the vehicle while observing the scan tool Yaw Rate and Lateral Accelerometer Sensor parameter. The parameters should vary as the vehicle changes directions.
- If the parameters are locked or erratic, replace the yaw/lateral accelerometer sensor.
- Replace the EBCM.
