- Verify that DTC U1826, U1827, or C0292 are not set.
- If DTCs are set, refer to Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) List - Vehicle .
- Ignition OFF, disconnect the harness connector at the yaw rate/lat sensor.
- Ignition OFF for 60 seconds, test for less than 5 Ξ© between the low reference circuit terminal 6 and ground.
- If greater than the specified range, test the low reference circuit for an open/high resistance.
- Ignition ON, test for B+ between the ignition voltage circuit terminal 1 and ground.
- If not within the specified range, test the ignition voltage circuit for a short to ground or open/high resistance. If DTC resets, replace the EBCM.
- If all circuits test normal, replace the yaw rate/lat sensor.
