2008 Chevrolet Chevy Express G2500, Van Cargo, 6.6 6SECTION Installation Procedure

  1. Install the stabilizer shaft insulator to the stabilizer shaft with the slit facing forwards.

  3. Install the stabilizer shaft to the vehicle.
  4. NOTE: Loosely install all components before tightening.
  5. Install the stabilizer shaft brackets and mounting bolts.

  7. Install the stabilizer shaft links to the stabilizer shaft.
  8. CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  9. Install the stabilizer shaft links to the stabilizer shaft retaining nuts.
    1. Tighten the stabilizer shaft bracket bolts to 60 N.m (44 lb ft).
    2. Tighten the stabilizer shaft links nuts to 66 N.m (49 lb ft).
  10. Install the tire and wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
  11. Lower the vehicle.
