Removal Procedure

2008 Chevrolet Chevy Express G2500, Van Cargo, 6.6 6SECTION Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the air cleaner outlet duct, if required. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Duct ReplacementΒ .

  3. Disconnect the manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor electrical connector (1).
  4. Disconnect the ignition coil electrical connector (6).

  6. Disconnect the left side spark plug wires from the ignition coil.

  8. Disconnect the right side spark plug wires from the ignition coil.

  10. Remove the ignition coil bracket bolts/nuts.
  11. Remove the ignition coil assembly.
  12. Remove the ignition coil bracket studs, if necessary.
