2008 Chevrolet Chevy Express G2500, Van Cargo, 6.6 6SECTION Installation Procedure

  1. Position the glow plug control module bracket (4), if required.
  2. CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  3. Install the glow plug control module bracket bolts (3), if required. Tighten the bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
  4. Position the glow plug control module (2).
  5. Install the glow plug control module bolts (1) and tighten to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  7. Connect the positive battery cable (1) to the glow plug control module.

  9. Connect the engine wiring harness electrical connector (1) to the glow plug control module.
  10. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
  11. If a NEW glow plug control module was installed, program the module. Refer to Control Module References .
  12. Install the engine cover. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement .
