Lubricate the NEW O-ring with clean engine oil.
Install the fuel pressure dampener O-ring seal (5).
Install the fuel pressure dampener (6).
Install the fuel pressure dampener retaining clip (7).
Install the upper intake manifold. Refer to Upper Intake Manifold Replacement .
Tighten the fuel fill cap.
Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
Inspect for leaks.
1. Turn the ignition ON, for 2 seconds.
2. Turn the ignition OFF, for 10 seconds.
3. Turn the ignition ON.
4. Inspect for fuel leaks.
