- Install the cooling fan adapter to the vehicle.
- Hold the cooling fan adapter from turning by placing a wrench on the adapter flat spots.
- Install the cooling fan adapter bolts and tighten to 24 N.m (18 lb ft).
- Install the cooling fan. Refer to Engine Coolant Fan Replacement (LH2 Heavy Duty Cooling) or Engine Coolant Fan Replacement (LH2 Standard Cooling) .
