Installation Procedure

Assemble the fuel system as follows:
- Install the fuel injectors and fuel rail. Refer to Fuel Injector and Fuel Rail Replacement .
- Install the fuel module assemblies. Refer to Primary Fuel Tank Module Replacement and Secondary Fuel Tank Module Replacement .
- Install the fuel filter. Refer to Fuel Filter Replacement .
- Connect the fuel line to the fuel rail. Refer to Metal Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
- Install the fuel fill pipe cap.
- Check the fuel system for leaks.
- Install the engine sight shield. Refer to Intake Manifold Sight Shield Replacement .
