- Remove the air cleaner housing assembly from the vehicle. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement .
- Remove the air cleaner housing cover (1) screws.
- Open the air cleaner housing.
- Remove the air cleaner element (2).
- Remove any loose debris that may be found laying in the base of the air cleaner.
