Preliminary Procedure:Β Remove the inflatable restraint steering wheel module. Refer to Inflatable Restraint Steering Wheel Module Replacement .
1 Steering Wheel Trim Cover Bolt (Qty: 4)
CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .

Tighten:Β  2 N.m (18 lb in)

2 Steering Wheel Trim Cover (Qty: 2)
Tip:Β  Remove switch and bezel straight out from steering wheel assembly, removing at an angle can cause damage to the foam behind the bezel.
3 Steering Wheel Control Switch Assembly (Qty: 2)

Procedure

  1. Radio control switch assembly is shown. Cruise control switch assembly is similar.
  2. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
  3. Make sure the steering wheel control switches are properly seated to the steering wheel trim cover during installation.
