Circuit/System Testing

2008 Chevrolet Chevy Express G2500, Van Cargo, 6.6 6SECTION Circuit/System Testing

  1. Ignition OFF, disconnect the harness connectors at the IPM.
  2. Ignition OFF, test for less than 3.0 Ξ© between the ground circuits listed below and ground.
    • Terminal 10 X3
    • Terminal 3 X3
    • If not within the specified range, test the ground circuits for an open/high resistance.
  3. Ignition On, verify a test lamp illuminates between the B+ circuits listed below and ground.
    • Terminal 1 X3
    • Terminal 2 X3
    • If not within the specified range, test the B+ circuits for a short to ground or an open/high resistance.
  4. If all the circuits test normal, replace the IPM.
