Preliminary Procedure

  1. Remove the right front fascia extension. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Extension Replacement (DW) or Front Bumper Fascia Extension Replacement (DX) .
  2. Drain the washer solvent into a suitable clean container.
  3. Disconnect the windshield washer pump hose from the windshield washer pump.
  4. Disconnect the windshield washer pump electrical connector from the windshield washer pump.
  5. Disengage the washer pump from the container, pull the top of the pump slightly outward.
  6. Using two flat-bladed tools under the washer pump, pry upward in order to remove the pump.
