Installation Procedure

- Connect the electrical connector on the switch.
- Align the brake panel position switch to the stud (3).
- Install the bolt (1) securing the brake panel position switch to the brake panel bracket and tighten to 9 N.m (80 lb in).
- Install the driver side I/P insulator closeout panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Left Side .
- Recalibrate the brake pedal position sensor. Refer to Brake Pedal Position Sensor Calibration .
