2008 Chevrolet Chevy Express G2500, Van Cargo, 6.6 6SECTION Circuit/System Testing

  1. Ignition OFF, disconnect the front headlamp leveling suspension position sensor arm from the ball and socket.
  2. Ignition ON, observe the scan tool Front Leveling Position Sensor parameter while moving the front suspension position sensor up and down. The reading should change as the arm is moved.
    • If the reading does not change, replace the front suspension position sensor.
  3. Connect the front headlamp leveling suspension position sensor arm to the ball and socket
  4. Ignition OFF, disconnect the rear headlamp leveling suspension position sensor arm from the ball and socket.
  5. Ignition ON, observe the scan tool Rear Leveling Position Sensor parameter while moving the rear suspension position sensor up and down. The reading should change as the arm is moved.
    • If the reading does not change, replace the rear suspension position sensor.
  6. If all circuits test normal, replace the headlamp leveling module.
