Preliminary Procedures

  1. Remove the rear compartment lid inner panel trim. Refer to Rear Compartment Lid Inner Panel Trim Replacement .
  2. Remove the rear compartment inner panel access plugs to gain access to the outboard spoiler bolts.
1 Rear End Spoiler Bolts (Qty: 4)
CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .

Tighten:Β  9 N.m (80 lb in)

2 Rear End Spoiler Assembly

Procedure

  1. Disconnect the high mounted stop lamp electrical connector.
  2. Carefully lift and pull the spoiler rearward in order to remove from the rear compartment lid.
  3. Transfer the high mounted stop lamp as needed.
  4. Ensure the foam gaskets are in place on the high mounted stop lamp alignment pins prior to re-assembly to the new spoiler.
