  1. Install the battery tray (3) into the vehicle.
  2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  3. Install the battery tray to battery tray reinforcement bolts (1).

    Tighten:Β  Tighten the bolts to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

  4. Install the battery tray support bolts (2).

    Tighten:Β  Tighten the bolts to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

  5. Install the battery tray to auxiliary BEC bolt (4).

    Tighten:Β  Tighten the bolt to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

  6. Install the positive and negative battery cables.
  7. Install the battery. Refer to Battery ReplacementΒ .
