Preliminary Procedures

  1. Open and support the hood.
  2. Remove the front compartment side sight shield on the passenger side of the engine compartment.
  3. Place a clean suitable container under the vehicle to contain any windshield washer fluid loss when the washer hoses are disconnected.
  4. Disconnect the 2 electrical connectors at the windshield washer solvent heater assembly.
1 Windshield Washer Solvent Heater Bracket Nut (Qty: 2)
NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .

Tighten:Β  9 N.m (80 lb in)

3 Windshield Washer Solvent Hose
Tip:Β  Disconnect the hose and the windshield washer pump hose connection just below the windshield washer hose.
