2008 Chevrolet Chevy Express G2500, Van Cargo, 6.6 6SECTION Installation Procedure

  1. Position the yoke (2) to the shock and control arm.
  2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  3. Install the yoke to control arm bolt (1).

    Tighten:Β  Tighten the bolt to 180 N.m (133 lb ft).

  5. Install the shock to yoke retaining bolt (2).
  6. Install the shock yoke nut (1).

    Tighten:Β  Tighten the nut to 90 N.m (66 lb ft).

  7. Install the tire and wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
  8. Lower the vehicle.
