2008 Chevrolet Chevy Express G2500, Van Cargo, 6.6 6SECTION Assembly Procedure

  1. Install the flow control spring (2) into the power steering pump housing (1).
  2. Install the control valve assembly (3) into the power steering pump housing (1).
  3. Lubricate the O-ring seal (4) with power steering fluid.
  4. Install the O-ring seal (4) onto the O-ring seat on the union fitting (5).
  5. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  6. Install the O-ring union fitting (5) to the power steering pump housing (1).

    Tighten:Β  Tighten the fitting (5) to 75 N.m (55 lb ft).
