2008 Chevrolet Chevy Express G2500, Van Cargo, 6.6 6SECTION Installation Procedure

NOTE: Do not coat spark plug threads with anti-seize compound. If anti-seize compound is used and spark plugs are over-torqued, damage to the cylinder head threads may result.

  1. Inspect the gap on the NEW spark plug(s), re-gap the plug(s) as required.

    Specification:Β  1.1 mm (0.45 in).

  2. Install the spark plugs.

    Tighten:Β  Tighten the plugs to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).

  3. Install the ignition coil(s). Refer to Ignition Coil ReplacementΒ .
