Installation Procedure
2008 Chevrolet Chevy Express G2500, Van Cargo, 6.6 6SECTION Installation Procedure

- Position a NEW water pump gasket and the water pump to the engine front cover.
- Install the water pump bolts.
Tighten:Β Tighten the bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
- Install the water pump pulley and bolts.
- Install the drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement .
- Tighten the water pump pulley bolts.
Tighten:Β Tighten the bolts to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).
- Fill the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (L61)Β .
- Inspect for leaks.
