Installation Procedure

  1. Install the left fuel feed pipe.
    2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  2. Connect the fuel feed pipe fitting to the left fuel rail.

    Tighten:  Tighten the fittings to 41 N.m (30 lb ft).

  3. Connect the fuel feed pipe fittings to the fuel injector pump.

    Tighten:  Tighten the fittings to 41 N.m (30 lb ft).

  4. If equipped, install the auxiliary generator. Refer to Auxiliary Generator Replacement .
  5. Install the A/C compressor. Refer to Compressor Replacement (6.6L) .
  6. Prime the fuel system. Refer to Fuel System Priming .
  7. Start the engine.

    If the engine does not start, repeat the above step.

  8. Inspect the fuel system for leaks.
