Key Coding Procedure
2008 Chevrolet Aveo LT, AutomaticSECTION Key Coding Procedure
- Install the immobilizer control unit cartridge in the scan tool.
- Turn the ignition off
- Connect the scan tool
- Turn the ignition on with the key to be coded
- Enter the four-digit password that enables service personnel to use the scan tool for key coding.
- Use the scan tool command.
- Verify that the key coding was successful by starting the engine with each of the authorized keys.
