Input Carrier Assembly Inspection




1. Check the end play between the input carrier (1) and the thrust washer (2) at each pinion gear (3).
2. Replace the input carrier assembly if the end play exceeds specifications.

Replace the input carrier assembly if the end play exceeds 1.01 mm (0.040 in).




3. Inspect the bushing for wear or damage.
4. Measure the ID of the bushing.
5. Replace the bushing if the ID exceeds specification.

The bushing maximum ID is 50.69 mm (1.9957 in).
