Installation Procedure
2006 Chevrolet Suburban K2500, 6.0 USECTION Installation Procedure
- Align the marks made during the removal of the steering shaft and the steering wheel.
- Install the steering wheel onto the steering shaft.
- Install the steering wheel nut to the steering shaft.
Tighten: Tighten the nut to 40 N.m (29 lb ft).
- Install the horn switch. Refer to Horn Switch Replacement .
- Install the inflator module. Refer to Inflatable Restraint Steering Wheel Module Replacement in SIR.
- Enable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 3 in SIR.
