- Remove the sending unit. Refer to Fuel Sender Assembly Replacement (Front Tank) or Fuel Sender Assembly Replacement (Rear Tank) .
- Disconnect the level sensor electrical connector.
- Release the level sensor retaining clip.
- Squeeze the locking tangs together, and remove the fuel level sensor (1).
