Installation Procedure

2006 Chevrolet Suburban K2500, 6.0 USECTION Installation Procedure

Install the inflatable restraint I/P module to the I/P.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

Install the nuts to the inflatable restraint I/P module.
Install the top nuts first then the lower ones second.

Tighten: Tighten the nuts to 9 N.m (80 lb in).
Enable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 5 .
Secure the inflator module connector to the I/P structure.
Install the upper I/P trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) Upper in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
