2006 Chevrolet Suburban K2500, 6.0 USECTION Circuit/System Verification

  1. Verify that DTC B009F 00, B009F 4A, or B009F 73 is not set.
    • If the DTC is set, program the serial data gateway module. If the DTC resets, replace the serial data gateway module.
  2. Verify the serial data gateway module is programmed with the correct software calibration.
    • If the correct software is not installed, program the serial data gateway module.
  3. Ignition ON, observe the scan tool Hybrid Crash Sensor 1 parameter. The reading should be No Crash.
    • If not No Crash, refer to Circuit/System Testing.
